Fo my two-cents worth, I am fully in favor of keeping the "Newspaper" somewhere in the division's name. And I have no problem with adding words such as "Online News" to the name. That's how I get most of my news these days, except for my subscription of the printed Wall Street Journal.
Some readers may remember that I was deeply involved with the Newspaper Division from 1979 through 1992.
Hello to all who may remember me.

The New York Times and Washington Post remain, in my judgment, the major agenda setters for other American media, including new media, and newspapers play the same role in local communities, certainly not without competition.
