[AEJMC Newspaper Division list] Judges needed

(Cross-posting to several lists.  Apologies in advance if you get this
more than once.)

I am looking to recruit judges for a couple of Newspaper Division
events.  If you would like to help on either or both counts, please
contact me.

1. AEJMC Southeast Colloquium.  The University of Mississippi is the
host campus for this year's Colloquium, March 19-21.  I am coordinating
the Newspaper Division.  Our submission deadline is Dec. 5, with a
notification goal of late January 2009.  (This is not an electronic
call; you will receive the papers in the mail.)

2. AEJMC 2009 Convention.  Chris Roberts of Alabama and I serve as
research co-chairs.  The deadline is not until April 1, 2009, but my
Calendar for Research Chairs says to begin asking for judges now.  It
also urges me to remind you that if you plan to submit a paper to the
Newspaper Division, you cannot serve as a judge.  My solution, of
course, is for you to submit the paper to another division.  Seriously
-- just keep that in mind.
