Susan,
I agree that industry-specific names don't work well these days for our 
converging communications system for all the reasons you mentioned.

I wonder whether something simple like NEWS would be appropriate. On 
the other hand, perhaps it is too narrow as our division is concerned 
with all parts of the newspaper industry, but all parts of the industry 
impact in one way or another the NEWS aspect.

Just a thought. I am glad that a name change will be discussed in 
Chicago.
