Hello everyone --

Journalism, the media and the entire communication industry face an  
uncertain future because of changing technologies and economic  
uncertainty.  Our academic institutions share these challenges, and  
AEJMC itself must adapt to serve you and other members in the not so  
distant future.  Strategic plans may come and go, but the process  
we’re now following is more important than in times past.  That’s why  
we’re asking for your help in deciding what the organization can, or  
should do, to claim its place in responding to these challenges.   
Please be frank in filling out the survey questionnaire at the link  
below, where you’re asked to define the field, tell us how you and  
others view the organization, and share your goals and visions.

We want your participation to be more than an “academic exercise,” so  
expect to find the results of this survey—including specific  
suggestions—displayed at our annual conference, in division meetings,  
and at other forums where AEJMC’s future is being decided.

People completing the survey are also eligible for two random drawings  
-- a free one-year AEJMC membership and a free registration for the DC  
Convention.
