Entertaining Ideas Spring 2010: A new edition of Esig's all-new, recently redesigned Online Newsletter is now available.

This edition features group-related updates about the conference as well as the first in a new series of columns highlighting breaking research related to the study of Entertainment.

Our dedicated editor, Cynthia Nichols (Twitter: @cynthianichols ) will publish another one a few weeks before the annual convention, so if you would like to promote your paper presentation or panel, please let us know!

Upcoming AEJMC Conference:
Abstracts and panel proposals are due Dec. 1 for the AEJMC Midwinter conference to be held March 5-7 at The University of Oklahoma's Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication. New facilities, great conference. Highly recommended by last year's attendees.

ESIG is accepting paper abstracts and panel proposals to be considered for inclusion. For questions or submissions to ESIG, please contact Midwinter Conference Research Chair Mina Tsay, Boston University (minatsay@bu.edu) .

ESIG Call for Papers - 2008 AEJMC Midwinter Conference

ESIG invites faculty and graduate students to submit papers for the 2007 AEJMC Midwinter Conference. Papers that deal with any aspect of mediated entertainment may be submitted, and all methods of inquiry are encouraged. Get the complete ESIG paper submission guidelines here.
